This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by blog SakuraBug (“Blog”), when you use our blog blog.SakuraBug.com and newsletter services (collectively, the “Services”). Blog may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Blog’s sole discretion. We encourage visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to our Privacy Policy.

Blog collects non-personally-identifying information (“non-PII”) of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request and potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses of visitors.

Blog also collects personally-identifying information (“PII”) like username, name and email address for users leaving comments on our blog or users subscribing to our newsletter. Blog collects such information only insofar as is appropriate to fulfill the purpose.

This is done through the use of commonly used information gathering tools, such as cookies, web beacons, web forms and server logs. Blog also utilizes Google Analytics to analyze how users interact with the Blog.

Blog uses web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies and data from Google Analytics to compile information on visitors’ usage of the Blog’s Services. This enables Blog to operate and improve content within the Blog,  understand relevancy of newsletter content and optimize the Blog’s Services for enhanced user experience.

Blog discloses PII only to its employees, contractors and service providers that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Blog’s behalf or (ii) to the provision of Blog’s Services. Blog will not rent or sell potentially PII and PII to anyone.

Blog participants in both affiliate programs and the Google Adsense program to fund the development and maintenance of the Services. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website. Google’s use of the DoubleClick cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DoubleClick cookie for interest-based advertising by visiting Ads Settings.

Users may update or change their registration information by logging in to their accounts or submitting a request to info@SakuraBug.com. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be handled within 30 days.

Blog take appropriate measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

If Blog has its assets acquired, or in the unlikely event that Blog goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party.
